Join the team of a locally owned and operated construction materials company based in Raleigh, NC. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual for our Outside Sales Account Manager position! General Responsibilities:The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer, industry, and community relationships with the intent of driving company sales within an assigned geographic area. This person will develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of their market area through analysis of competitors, plant locations, pricing, market conditions, and consumption levels.

Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Drives sales through engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge.

Create and maintain brand loyalty through excellent customer engagement.

Stay up to date on products, competitors, pricing and overall market conditions.

Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who is resourceful, adaptable, organized and has the ability to work in a competitive environment where developing and maintaining relationships, meeting sales goals and meeting and exceeding internal/external customer expectations are of paramount importance. The successful candidate will possess the flexibility and capability to adapt and meet new and changing business priorities. Must possess ability to network and engage with existing and prospective customers. Must possess ability to learn and understand product lines (construction materials - aggregate, concrete, asphalt), competitors, pricing strategy and market conditions. The individual must have high energy, be a multitasker, highly organized, have effective time management and have a strong work ethic. Must be an effective verbal and written communicator. Must possess general business sense, propose solutions, implementation and follow through. Qualifications

A desire to grow or learn new skill set.

Zero (0) to two (2) years in customer service, account management, client support, entry level sales, or other related fields preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong problem solving, organizational, decision making, and multi-tasking skills.

Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision.

Ability to collaborate with others within the company.

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred, not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current North Carolina Driver’s License required

Ability to obtain industry specific certifications
