Piper Companies is seeking a
TS/SCI GIS Administrator for a rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications. (Open to have some open to relocate to Raleigh area) Responsibilities for the TS/SCI GIS Administrator: • Perform at high level/expert intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation. Shall possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases. • Leads overall communication with clients and stakeholders • Highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment. • Leading GIS Requirements for the TS/SCI GIS Administrator: • Minimum of 6 years GIS administration experience • Must have TS/SCI • Experience writing project plans and other project documents • Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python with knowledge of C# and Java • Experience in knowledge in energy, utilities, or engineering • Desired Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
