REQUIREMENTS: Valid NC drivers license w/ a clean record, a working cell phone with GPS capabilities (Google maps tends to work best for under construction neighborhoods), Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with construction team, knowledge of basic construction terms and materials such as 2x4, 2x6, hardie board, pvc trim, decking, and framing lumber, ability to lift 75lbs and navigate active construction neighborhoods safely, must be reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Description: JMC Construction Inc is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to assist with material deliveries for residential construction projects in the holly springs and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with a solid understanding of common construction materials and terminology.
Responsibilities: Pick up and deliver building materials onto job sites (placed where it will be used on site) on schedule, communicate effectively with project managers and crew leads regarding delivery times and materials needed, handle materials carefully and verify quantities during loading and unloading, maintain accurate delivery records and receipts, operate company or personal vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
Preferred: Experience in residential construction or material delivery, basic tool knowledge and ability to assist with small job-site tasks when needed.
