Click Here to ApplyThis job provides a unique opportunity to learn about ALL aspects of event marketing. You’ll be negotiating a portfolio of community event contracts and project managing the day-to-day details of those sponsorships. You’ll also be driving a 16’ trailer, setting up and tearing down displays and activating the events from open to close, which includes some heavy lifting, time outdoors, travel across the state and weekend hours. If you’ve got great organizational, people and analytical skills and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, you’re going to thrive in this role and learn a lot. Responsibilities:

Negotiates contracts in a fiscally responsible manner to achieve the NCEL's community marketing objectives for multiple partners.

Manages on-site activations from planning to implementation.

Manages creative assets for each account to meet deadlines and marketing objectives.

Analyzes, summarizes and reports promotional results and post event measurement at the conclusion of each event.

Ensures fulfillment of contractual elements by collecting and verifying proof of performance.

Orders promotional merchandise for all events, oversee promotional and premium item inventory tracking system and responsible for managing the employee purchase program each quarter.

Designs, creates and produces consumer promotions to highlight community-marketing objectives.

Maintains upkeep of marketing assets and supplies by ensuring the preservation of vehicles, marketing trailers and promotional equipment

Initiates graphic projects including specifications, formatting and deadlines for all signage and messaging.

Analyzes cost estimates and presents conclusions.

Loading and unloading marketing vehicles and trailers. Assembles and dismantles event displays.

Drive cargo van with marketing trailer in tow.

In-state travel to events, which includes overnight stay on some weekends.

Interacts with the public and educates players on game rules.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience

Knowledge of marketing and event sponsorship best practices.

Skill in event sponsorship negotiation.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to perform a task with general direction and/or little supervision by following established standard operating procedures and/or policies.

Ability and experience in driving a cargo van and trailer.

Ability to set up trailer and displays for events.

Hiring Rate: $51,078 (this hourly position will be filled at or near the posted salary)
