DECORATIVE CONCRETE COATING INSTALLERS – Crew leaders and helpers

Sundek of North Carolina has positions available for crew members to install decorative concrete coating systems.
Our starting salary begins at $15.00 - $25.00 / hour depending on experience. While we are looking for individuals with previous concrete or painting experience, there is NO experience required for this job. We are willing to teach you our trade and provide career growth opportunities. We encourage painters, handymen and concrete workers to apply. Job Description: The crew member is involved with the preparation of concrete floors for coating application. Work includes but is not limited to: grinding concrete with walk-behind machine work and hand grinding; washing, cleaning, vacuuming, and scraping floors; and various other surface prep that requires working on your knees for extended periods of time. This job also involves applying coatings, which includes working with multiple different chemical systems in a safe environment. Other job duties may arise that are not listed in this description.
This job can be labor-intensive. Our ideal candidate will take pride in their work and want to learn how to work with concrete to create excellent looking floors. We generally work during normal business hours, but frequently have jobs that need to be done during evenings and weekends. To be considered for this job, you need to understand that you may be asked to work late, work evenings, and work weekends. We give as much notice as possible when these situations arise.
Responsibilities and Duties/ Responsabilidades y Deberes:

Mixing, spraying, stamping, cutting, coloring and placement of coating materials, staining, and sealing of surfaces / Mezcla, pulverización, estampación, corte, coloreado y colocación de materiales de recubrimiento, tinción y sellado de superficies
Prepping and cleaning concrete surfaces / Preparación y limpieza de superficies de hormigón

Minimum Qualifications and Skills/ Cualificaciones y habilidades mínimas:
Must be in good physical condition and health / Debe estar en buena condición física y salud
Must be comfortable bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying (up to 50 lbs.), using power and small hand tools / Debe ser cómodo doblar, arrodillarse, levantar / transportar (hasta 50 lbs.), Usar herramientas eléctricas y manuales pequeñas
Must be able to work outside / Debe poder trabajar fuera

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ CALIFICACIONES PREFERIDO:
