Description We are offering a temporary-to-permanent employment opportunity in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, for an experienced Fund Accountant. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in handling various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as dealing with financial services. You will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and expertise in accounting software systems is essential.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications. Maintaining precise customer credit records. Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when discrepancies are detected. Handling accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure smooth financial operations. Utilizing accounting software systems to manage and organize financial data. Performing check processing duties as required. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial report generation. Working with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other financial services. Leveraging skills in Concur and Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient account management. Correcting miscoding and wrong accounts to maintain financial accuracy.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for effectively managing financial data. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required, as it is integral to our financial operations. Familiarity with Concur is important for managing expenses and invoices. Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software is essential for handling business operations. Command over Microsoft Excel is crucial for data management and analysis. Understanding of Accounting Functions is required to maintain and control the company's financial documentation. Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is needed to manage the company's bills and expenses. Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial for overseeing payments that are due from clients or customers. Knowledge of Billing Functions is required to generate invoices and account statements. Expertise in Check Processing is necessary for dealing with payments and transfers. Familiarity with Abila MIP is important for managing our non-profit financial structure.
