Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an Network Automation Technician to join their team in Rocky Mount, NC . Shifts available are 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM (2-2-3 Schedule) ; this is a 12-Month Contract with potential to extend and/or hire on permanent, based on performance.Job Title: Network Automation TechnicianLocation: Rocky Mount, NCPay Range: $33-36/hourJob Function:
Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects, and lead small project teams.
Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management, and team participation skills.
Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
Required Qualifications:
Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
Working knowledge of computer networking.
SQL, Java, C, Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge and certificates would be a bonus.
CompTIA, Cisco, Palo Alto certifications a big plus.
Familiarity with remote desktop/ VNC, ticketing and help desk systems.
Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills {written and oral}.
