Location: Our Agency serves the following areas - Surry, Stokes, Yadkin, Davie, Forsyth Counties

Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide clinical oversight and ensure quality, compliant in-home care services for our clients. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for an RN who enjoys autonomy, organization, and building relationships with clients and caregivers. The RN Supervisor will conduct client assessments, develop and review Plans of Care, complete supervisory visits, and oversee caregiver competency and training.

Average workload is approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility based on client and agency needs.

Responsibilities

Review new client intake information and determine service eligibility.

Conduct in-home assessments and complete related intake documentation.

Develop, input, and update individualized Plans of Care (POCs) based on assessment findings.

Complete required 90-day supervisory visits and POC reviews.

Perform caregiver competency checks and provide ongoing training and supervision.

Review and sign clinical documentation including assessments, care plans, and supervisory visit forms.

Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.

Be available for clinical consultation during service hours as required by state regulation.

Because we have shifts scheduled outside of typical work hours, an RN must be available for advice during shifts outside of business hours

Schedule & Time Expectations

Starting at 10–15 hours per week

Schedule is often self-directed and based on client and agency needs with some tasks requiring more structure and others requiring flexibility.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in home care, community health, or related field.

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Familiarity with WellSky or similar EHR systems preferred.
