A National Federal Contractor, is seeking a Quality Control Manager (CQM) to join our team in the Twinsburg, Ohio area. The selected candidate will oversee production processes, develop and implement quality control procedures, and ensure products meet company and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise quality control staff, inspect final products, and conduct statistical analysis.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with other departments to identify and correct defects.
Develop and implement quality systems.
Create and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Guarantee that products and processes adhere to all relevant legal obligations, industry regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience is required.
If no degree, 7 to 15 years experience.
USACE CQM certification is a plus but not required.
OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understanding of site operations is strongly preferred.
Must be able to lift at least 40lbs. and work outdoors, as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, engineering, and inspection-related software.
Ability to work independently and as a valuable team member.
