Roofer
Overview
We are currently seeking a Roofer experienced in residential and commercial roofing applications. This position will be part of a 6-8 man crew in tear-off, dry-in, and proper installation of provided materials. Knowledge of the entire top of the house construction is helpful.
Primary Duties
Follow verbal instructions of the Lead Roofer to execute each aspect of roof application from start to finish
Assist crew in all aspects of each project from start to finish
Roofing repair, neat/clean/safe tear-off, installation of supplied materials (3-tab/Dimensional shingles, EPDM, TPO, and modified roofing)
Proper chimney and step flashing, weaved and metal valley application
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training/trade-school certificate preferred
Valid Ohio Drivers License and reliable transportation, a truck with tools/ladder rack preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential/commercial roofing
Knowledge of residential/commercial roofing, practices, procedures, techniques, tools, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety protocol
Must maintain a strong work ethic, personal integrity, and high level of continued reliability
Ability to use and maintain personal and company tools and provided materials
Have physical ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs for a distance 50 feet is required
Ability to perform tasks in all areas and aspects of the roofing project. Ability to climb ladders at heights up to 30 feet, and crawl for distances of 40 feet

Compensation
$200-$250 Cash per day. 1099 work with W-9 issued at the end of each year. Pay commensurate with experience, tooling, transportation, and professionalism
