Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician (2nd Shift)Job Description
Inspect shipments, reconcile labels, review and release finished product and other paperwork. Review and approve/reject various quality-related documents. Assist in planning, developing, and implementing quality assurance programs. Respond to customer requests, including investigating complaints and completing required paperwork for corrective and preventive actions and associated follow-up. Assist in changing and maintaining ISO and cGMP paperwork. Train or oversee training. Ensure the quality requirements of all departments are being followed and accurately documented. Interpret, understand, and manage a variety of technical information. Prepare routine, technical, and special presentations/reports for staff and management as required. Prepare and compile statistical analysis of quality assurance data. Oversee the writing and maintaining of owner’s process manuals. Coordinate and perform quality assurance system internal audits, investigate non-conformances, and determine root cause analyses. Review current policies and document any areas that may need quality improvements. Compile lab results, ensuring they are within specifications and compliance. Work with QC department and pilot plant. Perform other duties as assigned.

Fast-paced work environment. Super clean warehouse environment as they are FDA regulated. They are big on teamwork and culture. 65,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Aurora, OH, USA includes a 12,000 sq. ft. excipient processing center, 3,000 sq. ft. for repackaging, 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse, 8,000 sq. ft. office, 8,000 sq. ft. manufacturing area, and 1,000 sq. ft. quality control and R&D laboratory. Will work on the manufacturing floor sometimes to conduct tests, with the majority of the time being in front of a computer.
