Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is primarily responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. Additionally, you will be monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Non-profit fund accounting highly preferred. Responsibilities: Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring they have appropriate approvals Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system for payment Prepare vendor checks for mailing Review employee timesheets for accuracy and approval, resolving discrepancies with Managers as necessary Enter hours into payroll system, reconciling any issues with employee time off Prepare documentation for monthly/quarterly grant reimbursement invoices Assist with retrieval of documents for year-end audit Maintain account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing records Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing Promote teamwork and cohesiveness within the workplace Affirm the value of diversity and respect others regardless of gender, class, race, ethnicity, ability, religion/spirituality, cultural identity, immigrant or refugee status, and sexual orientationRequirements Possess skills in Account Reconciliation Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing processes Non-profit fund accounting experience Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong mathematical and analytical skills Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
