job detailsjob summary:A Repair Service Technician is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Cincinnati, OH area. The Repair Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment, documenting activities in Oracle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.location: Cincinnati, Ohiojob type: Contractsalary: $21.47 - 30.00 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Associatesresponsibilities:
Work independently or under direct supervision.
Use and operate repair tooling and test equipment safely and properly.
Complete repairs of customer products within designated repair cycle times.
Document all service activities in Oracle during the repair process.
Perform repairs according to training, local, and global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and complaint departments to resolve product or repair issues.
Maintain a safe work environment, following safety regulations.
Cross-train on the repair of various products.
Skills:
Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills.
Computer skills required, with Oracle experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in the medical field is a plus.
Ability to work in a team and service-oriented environment.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or certification from a technical or trade school preferred.
Minimum of a 2-year degree in Biomedical Technology, Electrical, or Electronics Technology.
2+ years of experience in medical or electronic equipment repair and testing.
