Provides navigation, information, and assistance in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment. Facilitates efficient flow of patients and guests at main entrance points. Ensures that main entrances are tidy, safe and reflect a welcoming environment. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.Qualifications:Required:
High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
Experience in a customer service position in a healthcare, hospitality, or retail environment.
Ability to provide clear and accurate verbal instructions.
Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
Possesses basic computer hardware and software skills.
Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
Ability to interact effectively with people from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Presents a professional demeanor at all times.
Preferred:
Two years of experience providing customer service.
Proficiency in a second language.
Physical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
May need to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
