Reporting location can be either Akron-Eastwood Shop (2100 Eastwood Avenue, Akron OH 44305), 55th St. Center (1201 E 55th Street, Cleveland OH 44103), Akron-Wilbeth Shop (1000 W Wilbeth Rd, Akron OH 44314), Eastern-Randall Shop (22000 Miles Rd. Cleveland OH 44128) or Youngstown Shop (1165 W Rayen Ave. Youngstown OH 44502).The Senior Quality Management Specialist perform all of the above and may also make recommendations for updates to company SOPs, Operation Qualification Plan and work procedure improvements. May be asked to research and analyze governmental regulations and policies and interpret their applicability to gas operations.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceMinimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):Senior Quality Management Specialist:5+ years directly related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR7+ years directly related experience with an Associate's degreeRequires in-depth knowledge of applicable employee safety and pipeline safety regulations and requirements, including Operator Qualification and/or Pipeline Integrity ManagementThorough understanding of government regulations, company safety policies and approved work methods.High level of technical expertise in gas distribution operations or back office support.Familiar with the field skills, equipment, and technologies used throughout gas distribution systemExcellent communication, computer, writing and coaching skillsMust be comfortable working in a diverse environment supporting field personnel with detailed analytic workAble to identify anomalies in data both numerical and visualAbility to compile, analyze, graph and compare data using standard statistical techniquesAbility to communicate in a wide variety of communication styles and to influence and build consensus across cross-functional groupsAbility to quickly resolve complex problems and adjust work plans with limited supervisionDemonstrated expert knowledge of Windows-based software, including Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Power PointEducation RequirementsDegree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:BachelorPreferred Disciplines: Engineering, Technical Studies, Accounting, and/or Data Analytics.Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed aboveLicenses, Certifications, or Quals DescriptionWorking ConditionsOutdoors 51-75%Office Work Environment 51-75%Cold 26-50%Heat 26-50%Travel 26-50%Other Working ConditionsWill require working in hot or cold temperatures and/or inclement weather.Test DescriptionNo Testing RequiredExport ControlCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
