Area Networks has an opening in our core Admin team for someone to provide user system support, and work on new projects implementing new features and upgrading current infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have good time management skills to effectively work on multiple open tickets and assigned projects, while working with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate with both management and other admins is critical.
You will be working in our downtown Cleveland office just off of East 9th with our Admin team Monday through Friday, during day time hours. We support multiple platforms and handle issues or implementations for anything from cable runs to new communication system roll-outs that can happen at your desk, or at one of our locations. If you are looking for variety, you will surely find it here.
Position Requirements:
You should have proven experience with:
- Windows 10/11
- Windows Server 2019
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Network troubleshooting
And should have an understanding of:
- Azure Web Services
- Remote Desktop and Terminal Services
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Hyper-V virtual platform
Knowledge and experience with the following is beneficial:
- Barracuda security products
- CISCO IOS (switches and routers)
We make a commitment with our Admins to continuously improve on education and add new skillsets in emerging technologies. Your first week you will sit down with management to layout a Continued learning path to set goals and milestones leading to certifications.
This position does require travel across the Northeast Ohio region to our office locations and datacenters. All trips end back at our downtown office same day as started. Mileage is reimbursed for all approved trips.
Online assessments will need to be completed in order to calculate a salary proposal. The online assessments cover areas of Windows desktop, Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
