We are looking for a motivated Automotive/Diesel Mechanic to perform all required automotive repair services to ensure vehicle operations are safe and reliable. We need you to troubleshoot and solve problems with a wide range of components, from the electrical and fuel systems, to the engine and the drive train. You will also be responsible for ensuring vehicles are in proper working condition and are ready to be driven on our car lot. You should be able to work independently and with a sense of urgency. We have several Fleet companies we cater to and to you'll need to maintain that higher standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all automotive/diesel vehicles.
Assist in repairing leaks, oil leaks, transmission issues, suspension issues and other common issues.
Diagnose and repair computer-related issues, e.g. A/C or battery diagnosis, ECM etc
Advise on potential upgrades to vehicle performance and perform repairs accordingly in some cases.
Maintain cleanliness of service bay, tools and cars in stock.
Make recommendations for vehicle updates such as new tires or battery replacement.
