Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.Summary:Performs breast imaging procedures utilizing dedicated breast imaging equipment for the diagnosis of breast cancer and diseases. Provides appropriate age-specific patient care. Performs quality assurance appropriate for mammography. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.Qualifications:Required:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment

Valid Ohio Radiographer License

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within the standard probationary period

Effective communications and good interpersonal skillsPreferred:

One year of job-related experience

Previous experience in the use of computers dedicated to mammography equipment and special procedures.Physical Requirements:

May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.

May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.

May need to sit or stand for extended periods.

See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
