In this Outreach and Engagement Specialist role, you will be an integral part of the Operational team, responsible for greeting clients upon entering the building to determine customer needs and appropriate referral to staff.This is a critical role in that you will be responsible for the first impression of the center, initial assessment of job seeker needs, overview of career center services, and directing the job seeker to the right service quickly.  In this role you will:Provide job seekers with social service referralsProvide assistance in the resource room as needed with a special focus on encouraging and empowering job seekers to utilize self-help resources Collect documentation and verify information needed for employment/education servicesConduct exit interviews to ensure customer satisfactionGenerate statistical reportsConduct morning meetings with staff to communicate activities and eventsConduct outreach to increase traffic in the center
