QA Testing Analyst: III (Senior)

Description We are offering a role in the banking industry located in Columbus, Ohio. The role functions as a Quality Assurance Analyst, with the primary responsibility of test script execution for a Teller upgrade project. This role is a short-term contract opportunity, ideal for individuals with experience in Teller systems or POS system and the ability to work closely with IT groups.Responsibilities: Execute test scripts as part of the Teller upgrade project Track and log defects accurately, coordinating closely with both internal and external IT groups Utilize QA - Quality Assurance skills to ensure the highest quality of work Manage the upgrade process efficiently, drawing on experience in the banking industry Utilize defect management skills to address and resolve issues promptly Leverage knowledge of EO/IR systems to optimize testing processes Apply QA Testing techniques to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the Teller systems Contribute to the banking industry knowledge to the team, enhancing overall project outcomes. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing Proficient in defect management to identify, track, and resolve issues Ability to develop and execute test scripts to ensure system quality Knowledge of the banking industry and its associated processes Experience with EO/IR systems and their application in a QA context Proven ability to manage system upgrades to ensure seamless transitions A Plus certification or equivalent experience in a relevant field Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficient in relevant QA software and tools.
