Use blueprints, sketches, computer-aided design (CAD) and work instructions to produce precision parts

Produce parts that meet required machine output specifications while maintaining high production rates

Perform precise measurements with precision measuring devices/gages for turning/shaping tasks

Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot, and appropriately adjust inputs to correct any issues outside specified tolerances

Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Lathes/MCL (Material Control Lab) machines and/or other turning/cutting and grinding equipment.

3rd shift 8pm-6:30am 4X10

Review and understand blueprints, drawings, and/or written instructions to understand the machine output specifications

Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.

Perform basic shop math, use precision measurement instruments and metrology tools.

Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma or GED

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

6 months manufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program

1 year of CNC machine operator experience that would include, but not limit to retooling, minor maintenance, changeovers, and first article inspection.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, or CMM) to take accurate measurements

Experience with MS Office Suite
