This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business operations.
Contractor Responsibilities
The independent contractor will be expected to execute the following services with professionalism and efficiency:
Perform thorough residential cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Handle laundry tasks upon request, such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care and efficiency.
Execute specialized floor care procedures, which may include carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and maintaining tile surfaces.
Ensure proper sanitation of kitchens and bathrooms by disinfecting sinks, toilets, tubs, and countertops.
Provide exceptional client service by communicating effectively, understanding specific cleaning needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Contractor is responsible for managing their own professional-grade cleaning supplies and equipment. The contractor must report any operational needs promptly to maintain the highest service quality.
Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices while promoting a safe working environment for themselves and clients.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
We are looking to partner with individuals who demonstrate a high level of professionalism and business acumen:
Previous experience as an independent contractor or employee in residential cleaning, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
Familiarity with operating as an independent business, including managing schedules and client communication.
Hands-on experience with professional cleaning equipment (e.g., carpet cleaning machines, floor polishers) and sanitation techniques is preferred.
A strong background in customer service, emphasizing professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Solid knowledge of effective cleaning products, techniques for various surfaces, and safety standards related to sanitation practices.
Experience in laundry operations or custodial work enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive services.
