Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Leader for our concrete crew to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry form setting skills, be skilled in reading plans and layouts of concrete work, and be familiar with site work. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and teach a team.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans for concrete work.
- Set up and maintain carpentry forms for concrete structures.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of a skilled crew, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Mentor and train crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Skills & Attributes:
- Strong carpentry form setting skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and layouts.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Familiarity with concrete, especially site work.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Reliable, accountable, and able to lead by example.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive wage: $32.00 per hour.
- Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
- Normal work schedule: Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.
- Seasonal slowdown during late fall to mid-winter (weather dependent).
- Five paid holidays per year.
