Description We are offering a position within the non-profit industry, based in Dayton, Ohio. The primary function of this role will be to perform accounting duties, with a focus on grant management and fiscal responsibilities. This is a short term contract position.Responsibilities: Work closely with the grant team to ensure accurate and timely management of funds. Handle the coding of invoices, ensuring they are correctly assigned and recorded. Monitor fiscal activities to ensure financial compliance and accuracy. Assist in filling gaps in the accounting process as required. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks. Apply knowledge of fiscal management and fiscal policy to daily tasks. Use expertise in grant accounting to manage and oversee grant funds. Requirements Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Experience in Fiscal Management and Fiscal Policy is essential. Should have knowledge and experience in Grant Accounting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Prior experience in the non-profit sector is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
