We manufacture, deliver, and install concrete burial vaults and provide gravesite burial services at area cemeteries.
Experience: On the job training will be provided. Knowledge of basic tools and mechanical skills is a plus. Springfield Vaults is looking for someone that is willing to learn/is trainable, very reliable, takes instructions from supervisors/other management, has a positive attitude and is not afraid of hard work. Must be extremely reliable. Experience driving a fork lift is preferred.
Job Description: Primary responsibility will be to manufacture concrete burial vaults and marker bases. Painting burial vaults, working in the vault manufacturing plant stripping, cleaning and preparing our concrete molds for pouring, and other maintenance/housekeeping duties as needed. Additionally, you will be required to deliver concrete burial vaults to local cemeteries and install into gravesites. Provide graveside tent setup and tear down before and after burial services. Operate hydraulic trailer to install burial vaults (training provided).
This is physical laborer position that may involve standing, walking and lifting for a long period of time throughout the day and must be able to lift a min of 75 pounds. This job also requires working outside in all of the elements and will involve traveling to cemeteries in a company vehicle with a vault trailer.
Job Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License is required. Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Physical ability to perform job duties; climbing in and out of truck, operating fork lift, getting in and out of dig site, set up tents/ chairs, etc.
Knowledge of basic tools and their uses.
Good attendance, positive attitude and be a team player.
Available to work 4-6 days a week. MUST BE available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.
