Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Cost Accountant in KENT, Ohio. The successful candidate will be instrumental in our team's financial operations, with an emphasis on cost accounting. This role is situated within the finance industry and requires proficiency in various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning.Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems to process and manage financial data. Employ ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and other related tasks. Generate and analyze financial reports using Crystal Reports. Use Epicor for integrated business process management. Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for enhanced business operations. Execute accounting functions in compliance with financial regulations and standards. Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP). Conduct auditing of financial statements and reports for accuracy. Participate in budget processes to assist in financial planning. Monitor and manage cash activity for optimal financial operations. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cost Accountant role or a similar financial position. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a must. Knowledge and experience with Epicor software are necessary. Should have a deep understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Experience with Accounting Functions is required. Must have proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP). Previous experience in Auditing is highly desirable. Familiarity with Budget Processes is needed. Should have experience in handling Cash Activity.
