We currently have an opening for an entry level steel cutter in an automation equipment building environment. Be a part of an innovative company that builds exceptional equipment.
Located conveniently off 75 at Alexis Rd, PD&B is a custom machine builder that works with the auto, cabinetry, chemical, garage door, aluminum extrusion, and many other industries. We build large complex production lines including robots, down to simple conveyors.
Position is full time, first shift. Environment is clean and well lit.
Responsibilities include:
1. Cutting steel for fabricated frames and machined details with training
2. Possible Mig welding with instruction from lead fabricator
3. Forklift and 10-ton crane operation (will train)
4. Prepping frames for paint sanding and grinding
5. Maintaining cleanliness of paint booth
6. Driving company vehicle for deliveries and pickups
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma
2. Strong math skills
3. Strong communication skills
4. Attention to detail
5. Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
6. Valid drivers license
7. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
