Description: Candidate may preform any number of the tasks below on a pilot line that creates prototype batteries for our client in their R&D department. may not be doing every task and could be specialized in a specific mfg process Measuring, collecting & analyzing data, and providing real time results and feedback to engineers. Mixing materials using industrial mixers. Compressing materials using hydraulic presses. Dispensing materials using hydraulic pumps. Assembling final products using various pieces of production equipment. Troubleshooting issues with machines and working with team members to resolve issues. Managing and performing tool and die change overs. Ensuring smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by taking an ownership mentality. Locating sources of problems by observation, locating and elevating causes of concern. Completing required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage.MUST HAVES:
MUST HAVE basic computer knowledge and navigation capability, must have experience with Microsoft office - word, excel, teams, and Outlook
MUST HAVE EITHER experience working in a laboratory, OR experience in a manufacturing industry dealing with small parts or chemicals (electronics, chemical, battery, or rubber manufacturing)
MUST HAVE experience or coursework related to chemistry, sciences, mathematics, prefer a candidate who has an associates or has done some college coursework in a STEM filed
MUST BE able to lift 30 lbs
MUST HAVE some knowledge of proper chemical handling safety procedures
MUST BE open to wearing a respirator, and if they have a large beard they need to be open to trimming that
NICE TO HAVES:
experience working in a lab is strongly preferred
ability to interpret shop manuals, schematics, and work instructions
strong attention to detail
