Seeking CNC precision operators/set-up machinist with a minimum of 5 years experience. Seeking experience with multi axis machines (10+ axis centers) with 3-4 mills per machine. Experience with 20-30 tools and efficient tool changing. Prefer experience with heat resistant exotic alloy.Shift timing - 1st shift (Day)Responsibilities:Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) in order to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (i.e. speed)
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision and measuring tool
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience machinist
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
Must have an understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations (i.e. constant use of protective gear)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Analytical skills - Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Additional Points of Interest:
