Aviation Line Service Technician
Location: Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Aviation Line Service Technician to join our ground operations team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working for a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and will support aircraft servicing, fueling, and ground handling operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marshal, tow, and park aircraft following standard ground handling procedures and safety protocols.
Perform fueling and defueling operations for general aviation, corporate, and commercial aircraft.
Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks on fueling equipment and ground service equipment (tugs, GPUs, etc.).
Provide lavatory, potable water, and GPU services as needed.
Assist with baggage handling, aircraft cleaning, and restocking of supplies.
Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free ramp areas at all times.
Deliver exceptional customer service to flight crews, passengers, and FBO clientele.
Follow all company safety procedures, FAA regulations, and airport authority requirements.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customer service, and operations teams to support efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate documentation of fueling transactions, equipment use, and service logs.
Qualifications:
Previous FBO experience in line service, ramp operations, or ground handling is required.
Basic knowledge of aircraft types, fueling procedures, and ground service equipment.
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Shifts Available:
6:00 AM – 3:00 PM ($20/hr)
2:00 PM – 11:00 PM ($21/hr)
10:00 PM – 7:00 AM ($23/hr)
