The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Plant Engineer in leading and directing salaried and hourly personnel engaged in all phases of the plant engineering function, including installation, and repair and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds and facilities.  This individual is expected to place an emphasis on providing a committed and high level of technical service in a safe manner, while partnering with other leaders to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency. The Maintenance Supervisor will:Assist in directing preventive maintenance programsCoordinate and supervise all construction and service work performed by outside contractorsConduct periodic inspections of all plant systems, equipment, facilities and grounds.  Oversees all changes or upgrades Review shift operations, make decisions, and implement actions relative to changes on shifts that may impact processing, procedures, personnel, equipment, and customer requirementsTrack downtime and provide solutions to decrease downtimeThe Maintenance Supervisor should have:Strong maintenance background, including experience with conveyors, electrical controls and automationExperience with maintenance management software (preferably SAP)Experience in a maintenance leadership roleAbility to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
