PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure compliance routes are completed and updated as neededBecome shop floor mentor and interface for HSE topicsHSE related communication including training, safety alerts and production review meetingsPrepare and coordinate HSE related training material and lead training classes.Lead / take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actionsParticipate in/lead plant emergency response teams and drillsConduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirementsDevelop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementationLead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bosch directivesConducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changesMaintain documentation to meet Bosch directives and regulatory requirementsProvide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teamsInteract with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies' requirementsMaintain documentation to meet Bosch directives and regulatory requirementsAbility to work independently and/or with a teamEngage the work force both salary and hourly to drive cultural change and accomplishing safety performance objectives and targets.Other duties as needed and assigned
