Job SummaryProvide facilities engineering support to the Williston Basin asset team. The role will focus on the design and execution of single-well and multi-well oil and gas production facilities, including engineering design and technical analysis, economic evaluation, defining scope of work for contractors, coordination of contractor bid processes, project management and cost tracking of construction activity, and commissioning and operations support. This is a full-time position based in Oklahoma City with the expectation to visit the asset field offices at least once per month for a duration of 2-3 days.An established knowledge of fundamental facilities engineering design principles and construction practices in the upstream oil and gas industry is required. The candidate must be able to exercise judgment within defined guidelines and solve problems of moderate complexity; comfortable seeking assistance from more experienced team members when resolving complex issues. The candidate will be expected to work successfully under a moderate level of supervision. The role will be required to serve as a resource for asset team members from other departments for discussion of development activity and execution strategy.Duties and Responsibilities

Design and manage execution of single-well and multi-well oil and gas production facilities.

Direct and collaborate with internal and external parties to design, procure, and install oil and gas handling systems.

Design of oil and gas process systems including piping, equipment, materials, instrumentation, and controls.

Evaluate capacities and constraints of existing equipment and piping systems.

Interface and negotiate with technical, managerial, and regulatory personnel in outside organizations and agencies to construct new facilities and/or execute improvements to existing facilities.

Prepare construction standards and operating guidelines for facilities.

Develop cost estimates and prepare AFEs for facilities projects.

Track progress and cost throughout the construction process.

Collaborate in a team environment to develop assets in the most cost-effective manner.

Review all expenditures for facilities and infrastructure within a specified area.

Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on equipment and process failures.

Generate and/or review engineering documents such as PFDs, PIDs, Material Specifications, BOMs, and Piping Plans.

Select, specify, and prepare datasheets and recommendations for new facilities equipment.

Ensure compliance with government requirements and Company policies.

Ensure construction compliance and consistency with CLR design and construction documents.

Planning and management for project execution (construction and commissioning).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.

Five (5) or more years of experience designing chemical process systems and/or managing the execution of engineering projects.

Facilities construction and/or experience in production operations.

Proficiency in hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing/design, and process system design.

Ability to travel at least once a month.

An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.

Five (5) or more years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Experience with industry codes and standards, including:

ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8

API RP 14C, 14E, 500

Experience with process simulation software (ProMax and/or Aspen HYSYS).

Experience with hydraulic modeling software (Pipesim and/or Synergi).

Proficient in Excel and VBA.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds.

Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
