Introduction / Company Overview:

We are a rapidly growing food-processing facility serviced by a leading manufacturing company, seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our team. If you are experienced in industrial maintenance, enjoy hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, and thrive in fast-paced operations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for the plant (mechanical, electrical, preventative, and breakdown maintenance)

Manage and schedule maintenance team shifts, assignments, and priorities

Perform and oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of facility equipment and systems

Monitor and enforce safety, environmental, and hygiene standards during maintenance operations

Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and reports

Ensure compliance with facility protocols including protective-equipment use (for refrigerated/freezer zones, temperature-extreme areas, noise, etc.)

Collaborate with operations and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize workflow

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the food-processing or protein/batter/breader industry)

Hands-on experience with refrigeration, ammonia systems, and protein/food-processing operations

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards

Ability and willingness to work in manufacturing areas with strong smells, noise, temperature extremes (from –40 °F up to 110 °F), including refrigerated/freezer environments, using required protective equipment

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Associate degree: additional technical/maintenance certification is a plus

Optional / Preferred:

Experience with large-scale food manufacturing plants

Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia-based)

Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling software
