Sr. System Administrator Location: Portland, OR (Remote/flexible) Duration: 2+ years

Kelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Sr. System Admin with strong security focus. This role will be working for one of our clients on a multi-year security initiative project. The ideal candidate will have experience working on remediation projects for infrastructure security improvements. Candidates need to have strong Vmware, Windows, Linux, Azure AD and AWS. Additional experience with vendor management and/or project management is a plus.

Duties
  • Detailed current state analysis of systems and networks.
  • Windows Server 2012/2019 creation and deployment.
  • CentOS/RHEL server creation and deployment.
  • AWS/Azure public cloud provisioning and configuration.
  • Application, virtual appliance, and operating system upgrades in virtual environments.
  • Application analysis, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Security remediation following industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Enterprise systems hardening/config management (Linux, VMware, Windows Server).
  • Project management for a large scope of security-focused initiatives.
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-department project teams.
  • Creation of detailed application and system documentation.
  • Tracking, prioritization and reporting of long-duration complex work plans with hundreds of elements.
