The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon is accepting applications for childcare providers to support congregational events on evenings and weekends as needed throughout the year. Currently, this averages around 2 - 5 hours a month and it is a growing opportunity with more events being added each month.
Job Summary: Care for small groups of children between the ages of 1-9 during congregational meetings and activities that their parents/caregivers attend. Hours typically fall between 4:45 - 7:30 PM on weeknights and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturdays with varying lengths of time depending on the event. Some opportunities happen monthly while others happen seasonally. Providers do not have to be available for every event. We are recruiting a group of people who are generally available during these times. It's a great opportunity for teens or adults looking for flexible, part-time work.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Ages 16+
Ability to collaborate with other providers and communicate with parents/caregivers
Experience caring for children (we can provide additional training if needed)
Able to communicate through email (checks email throughout the week)
