Eurofins Environment Testing Northwest in Bend, OR is seeking a lab Analyst I to join our team. ResponsibilitiesSet up and analyze microbiology samples including potable water, non-potable water and soilSet up and analyze inorganic potable and non-potable water samplesUnderstanding and interpreting the Oregon Health Authority rules and regulationsAssist clients in person, through email, and over phone with their various needsReceive, log and process samples from clientsMaintain all aspects of laboratory in clean and excellent working orderMaintain laboratory supply inventory including performing quality control checks and preparing Certificates of AnalysisPlan and prepare media for compliance and environmental analysisPlan and perform monthly environmental monitoringMaintain laboratory filing systemDocument all aspects of laboratory functions in logbooks and computer systemsPerform proficiency testing for Oregon’s Environmental Laboratory Accreditation ProgramAssist manager with tasks, performing them independently, as neededAssist in sampling and sample collection route as neededSend out client reports and invoices, as neededAbility to analyze samples on weekends, as needed Skills/QualificationsAseptic techniqueFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Excellent customer serviceSuperior time management skillsExcellent documentation, computer and organization skills
