Headquartered in Bend, Oregon, DrinkTanks® is looking to fill a Business Development Representative role. This is an opportunity for you to have an impact on a growing company. We are looking for qualified candidates that can jump in and think fast on their feet. This position will work from home and occasionally on-site at the Drink Tanks location in Bend, full-time during normal business hours.

Here’s what you’d get to do in this role:

- Roll up your sleeves to help out in many different areas; this job will entail a majority of business development/inside sales responsibilities, as well as miscellaneous administrative work, and data entry, that comes with our “all hands on deck” environment.

- You will learn about DrinkTanks culture, product and sales process

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, through contacting potential clients through phone, email, and qualifying leads from trade/marketing campaigns and shows

- Manage or assists on incoming sales inquiries, and distribute warm/hot leads in PipeDrive to the appropriate account managers

- Presenting DrinkTanks to new and existing clients to create customized product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

- Answer customer service questions, concerns, and needs

- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and customers

- Assist channel account managers with estimates, sales orders and manage the flow of the sales process from start to finish

- Learn to provide reports and analysis on sales and inventory, to assist with selling of DrinkTanks

- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

- Assist with billing, payment, and collection of payments

- Organizes and collaborates with team members on special projects as directed

- Report to the Sales Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results and program initiatives

- Plus other responsibilities that arise, as defined by the Manager (e.g. assist account manager at trade shows, etc. )

- Participate in local marketing events, promotions, and activations

The ideal candidate has:

- Project Management oriented (Self-motivated and determined to complete projects effectively)

- Communicates and collaborates well with colleagues and customers to reach objectives

- Knowledge of retail/consumer goods, with at least one year of relevant industry experience

Above all, the ability to create an excellent experience for the customer. The ability to manage conflict and negotiate positive outcomes.

- You have the confidence to solve problems independently and with good judgment.

- Adaptability and enthusiasm to do whatever is needed. You’ll get the opportunity to help in another area of the business.

- Accountability and scrappiness. What does this mean? You do what you say you will, you follow-through and you figure things out.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive, people-friendly attitude.

- Tech-savvy and capable and efficient in Microsoft Office programs. Excellent email management and data entry/10-key skills.

- Availability to work extended hours and/or weekends during the busy/peak/holiday seasons, as needed.
