Local established and quickly growing company is seeking an experienced sewing machine operator / maker, to help us make home goods from textiles sourced from around the world.
Daily Tasks include but are not limited to:
Interpreting Existing Patterns to Produce Finished Product
Cutting and Sewing of Various Fabrics including Mudcloth, Cotton, Linen
Sewing Invisible Zippers
Ability to Measure, Assemble and Sew Raw Fabric Pieces into a Finished Product

Job Requirements:
Accomplished Sewing and Cutting Skills
Ability to Interpret Patterns and Measurements
Must be Able to Lift a maximum of 40 lbs. in Accordance with Safety Training
Repetitive Use of Hands and Arms
Ability to Bend, Stoop, and Stand for Extended Periods of Time
Clear Communication Skills
Basic Math and Measurement Skills
Proficiency with Double Needle, Single Needle, Surger, Zig Zag and Walking Foot Machines
