As Residential Dining & Catering at Oregon State University continues to elevate the on-campus dining experience, we seek an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. “Our vision” is centered on a food first philosophy, focusing on a creative global and classic cuisine using fresh, high-quality, and local ingredients. Annual salary range of $45,000 - $48,000, and salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum qualifications include: Associates degree, vocational or technical degree in Culinary Arts; or completion of a certified culinary apprenticeship; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted. At least 5 years of progressive chef experience with a minimum of 3 years full-time work experience as a Sous Chef or Lead with supervisory experience in a large commercial restaurant, hotel, catering, or institution.
