Individualized Services Direct Support Professionals (IS-DSPs) will be providing supports in either Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn, and/or Benton County. IS-DSPs provide supports to people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in their homes and communities. They enjoy working with a variety of different people with different support needs at pre-scheduled times throughout the month. IS-DSPs will support people to have a safe, independent, and enriched lifestyle in their home and communities. IS-DSPs may assist with medical and health services management, financial resources and money management, and general activities of daily living. IS-DSPs also work with legal representatives and the guardians of those they support to assure that the person’s preferences are honored. Successful candidates will be ethical, patient, reliable, communicative, compassionate, flexible, able to work independently, and adaptable.

Job Type: Full-Time & Part Time Available - all open shift hours are set and vary depending on the needs of the individual. 30 Hours and above are considered full time.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

We are also offering a $1,000 sign on bonus that is paid out in increments at set milestones of your employment!

General Requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years of age (Diploma/GED not required).

-Possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

-Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 25 lbs (some shifts require more).

-Be able to be certified and maintain an acceptable level of certification in Oregon Intervention System (OIS).

-Be able to be certified and maintain certification in CPR/First aid.

-Pass a state/federal Criminal history and protective service investigation check, this may include being fingerprinted.

-Pass a pre-employment drug screen for the use of illegal substances in Oregon.

-Basic computer skills - computer assessment will be administered before hiring.

-Attend a two week in-person paid orientation training in Monmouth, OR.

-Complete all classes and submit all documentation required during orientation.
