Our established outpatient behavioral health clinic is seeking a Front Desk Professional who brings warmth, reliability, and strong organizational skills to a client-centered environment. This role is integral to the daily functioning of the clinic and to the sense of safety, continuity, and care experienced by our clients. The position begins at 32 hours per week.

The ideal candidate understands that front desk work in a behavioral health setting requires consistency, discretion, and a calm, professional presence, and takes pride in supporting clinical work through dependable administrative systems and compassionate client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and check in clients using trauma-informed practices (training provided)

Verify and update insurance and demographic information at each visit

Ensure intake paperwork, consent forms, and required documentation are accurate and complete

Collect co-pays and clearly communicate office policies with professionalism and empathy

Answer phones, return voicemails, and assist prospective clients with initial inquiries

Administer and document urine drug screenings in accordance with clinic protocols

Support appointment flow, maintain provider schedules, and provide general front office coordination

Organize and maintain office supplies, and ensure shared spaces are stocked and orderly (including client and staff snack areas)

You’ll Be a Strong Fit If You:

Communicate with professionalism, warmth, and clarity — even in fast-paced or sensitive situations

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and follow-through

Are comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems efficiently

Value consistency, confidentiality, accountability, and teamwork

Have prior experience in medical, behavioral health, or administrative settings (preferred but not required)

Are bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)

We are a collaborative team that recognizes the front desk as a cornerstone of client trust and continuity of care. If you take pride in being dependable, committed, and supportive — and value contributing meaningfully to a healing-focused workplace — we encourage you to apply.
