Job Title: Parking Ambassador
Position Summary:
This person is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while monitoring and assisting with parking operations. This role ensures a positive experience for all guests by offering information, enforcing parking rules, and maintaining a safe and orderly parking environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers entering and exiting parking areas.
Provide directions, parking information, and general assistance as needed.
Monitor parking lots and garages to ensure vehicles are parked safely and in compliance with posted regulations.
Issue parking citations or warnings when necessary.
Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity to management or security.
Assist with traffic flow during busy periods or special events.
Operate handheld or automated parking equipment when required.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of parking areas and ambassador stations.
Deliver outstanding customer service and handle inquiries or complaints courteously and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, parking, or security is a plus.
Work Environment:
Outdoor and indoor environments; may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
Requires standing and walking for most of the shift.
May involve evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on location needs.
