Farm Sales Associate and Market Driver
Job Type: Full Time, Year-round
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Wage ($19.00-$22.00), Depending on Experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a collaborative and team-oriented person who will assist the Farm Sales Manager in managing all aspects of Deck Family Farm’s sales: product and inventory (warehousing), farmers market and wholesale sales, and farmers market logistics. The job will include one 15-hour Saturday market driving shift, and an additional 25 hours of wholesale sales, warehouse, and administrative work throughout the week.
Our team is growing. Exceptionally qualified and interested applicants for this position may be considered for promotion to the Farm Sales Manager position.

-Good attention to detail
-Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in refrigeration
-Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus, but we are willing to train.
Responsibilities:
-Help in farmers market packout
-Load market vehicles in a safe, clean and efficient manner
-Support farmers market booth representatives
-Deliver market booth infrastructure and products, and assist in booth set up and operations
-Unload farmers market van with the assistance of farm staff upon returning from markets.
-Contribute to reports of sales data, feedback from farmers market customers and sales reps, and general market infrastructure status
-Must be physically able to load and unload trucks and freezers, pull and pack orders, and organize inventory in the warehouse and cold storage (up to and including lifting 50 lbs overhead and working in low-temperature environments)
-Wholesale order pulling, packing, and fulfillment
-Participate in customer service, relationship building and wholesale sales
-Assist with Full Farm CSA (FFCSA) order pulling, packing, and fulfillment
-Maintaining packhouse cleanliness and order
-Assist in managing onsite and offsite warehouse inventory.
-Attendance of 7am farm meeting and weekly market meeting
-Contribute data to build sales reports, inventory and scheduling
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
