Job Title: Music / Choir Teacher
Description: The Village School seeks a Music / Choir Teacher for grades 2-5 students beginning in the 2025-2026 School Year. This position is 8 hours per week. Additional hours are available for after school programs, student performances and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching choir or music
with children in group settings.
Ability to communicate clearly and positively with children and adults.
Oregon Teaching License is a plus.
Waldorf experience is a plus.
Knowledge of classroom management skills.
Willingness to get CPR training
Fingerprinting/Background check required
Hourly Range: $30.00 – $45.01, depending on education and years of experience, plus variable retention-based compensation, and our healthy lunch.
