We are a fast-paced, family-run Mexican restaurant looking for an experienced Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This position is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly and maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications:
Previous dishwasher experience is required
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow directions
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Positive attitude and willingness to help the kitchen team when needed
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment
Maintain clean prep areas, sinks, floors, and workstations
Keep dish pit organized throughout the shift
Take out trash, recycling, and compost as needed
Assist with basic prep (if needed) such as peeling, labeling, or portioning
Properly handle chemicals and follow safety guidelines
Support cooks and staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
End-of-day cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping stations
