Hale Clinic in Eugene, Oregon is looking for an MA or LPN with a passion for providing healthcare specifically using a patient-centered approach. An individual who has a positive, upbeat disposition and excellent customer service skills is required! Attention to detail, being able to multitask and work independently is a must. Some of the responsibilities of this role are:
Schedule patient appointments
Answer incoming calls
Take patient vitals: weight, blood pressure, hematocrit
Administer weekly injections of multiple medications in accordance with doctor’s treatment plan.
Draw serum labs, therapeutic phlebotomy
Chart patient care in EMR
Audit patient charts for provider visits and labs
Verify insurance eligibility
Audit Billing: work closely with billing to make sure all charges are being captured
Collect payment at time of service when applicable
Establish and manage professional and personalized relationships with all patients
Patient retention & celebration of patient milestones: birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Be able to speak intelligently to potential patients about the services that we offer
Facility duties:
Order office supplies: business cards, paper, ink, brochures, etc.
Order medical supplies and medications
Filing
Light cleaning, organization, stocking supplies
