We are a local, family-owned custom metal fabrication company and we are looking for a part-time shop assistant. Familiarity with a construction-related shop environment is preferred, but training will be provided. The following is a list of capabilities we are looking for:
Good driving record
Reliable transportation
Punctuality
Ability to occasionally lift or move items 50-75 lbs.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Attention to detail
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
Familiarity with different types of metal
Forklift handling
Can be trained
Responsibilities:
Load/unload variety of vehicles for shipment of products
Delivery & pick up driving
Miscellaneous shop tasks (clean up, material moving, open/close procedure, etc.)
Assist fabricators as needed
Assist with installation as needed
Wage DOE – starting at $17/hour
4-day work schedule, Monday - Thursday
Weekly hours may fluctuate, average 25 hours
