We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help operate our Asian market. This role is essential for day-to-day operations and requires someone who can work independently, provide friendly customer service, and keep the store organized and clean. Part time with 20-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Open and close the store according to procedures
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Learn and become familiar with store products in order to guide and assist customers with questions and selections
Operate the checkout counter (POS), process payments, and bag or box items
Stock shelves and rotate product from back stock
Maintain store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and breaking down cardboard
Keep the sales floor organized and presentable
Follow basic food safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working independently and handling responsibility
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to learn product knowledge and assist customers
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
Retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required
