Work trade position-Goat farm

Oregon, Medford-ashland, 97501 Medford-ashland USA

I currently have an opening for a work trade position on my very small goat dairy farm. Duties include; Feeding and watering 11 goats, they feed all but 2 babies that need hand fed 2 times a day. 5 chickens, 5 ducks, a rescue horse and a rescue donkey. Cleaning of one stall a week in the summer, 2 stalls a week in the winter. MIlking 3-4 goats once a day, one or 2 might go to twice a day after babies are weaned. Minimal fence mending and some watering. Mon-Fri.

In exchange for living accomodations in a 17 foot travel trailer with a full 8 x 8 bathroom attached. I pay power, water, trash, and internet. I have an antenna that gets about 13 basic channels. It has a fully enclosed back yard that the worker(s) are responsible to care for. I don't pay for the propane to cook with. No illegal drugs! Must be tidy, no trash laying around, or empty cans stacking up. There is gardening space available too. Must be able to move or lift about 75 pounds. (a bag of grain). 2 people can live comfortably, it is not big enough for more than that. Pics are posted, I was trying to re-paint, and refurbish. Nearly complete, just needs a few more hours to finish. I work full time in Eagle point, so with driving and chores when I get home I haven't had the time to finish it. I do have other work for pay, for the people who live here to make extra money, about 60.00 a week.

Yes, this is a repost. I thought I had hired 2 different couples, So I am going to make it clear, so as not to waste YOUR time or mine.

There is only enough room in the trailer for 2 people, the bed is a twin. The table does drop down to a bed, but again a twin. First couple started with 2, then added 3 kids. No.

Also, the expectation is that someone will be on site until I get home from work. Maybe an hour or 2 lagtime, but it is NOT; get up in the morning and feed, stay gone all day until 6 PM then come back and feed and milk. Baby goats get into trouble, deadly trouble. Also, the extra money that you make is not enough to drive to Grants Pass or Medford every day.
